Should handguns be illegal?

It was so easy for Seung-Hui Cho to buy a gun in the Virginia because all he had to do was walk in a gun shop prove he lived in Virginia and that he didn't have a criminal record. That's it ! On April 16, 2007, Cho used the handgun to kill 32 people on the Virginia Tech campus. Some people believe that handguns should be illegal because they feel that handguns are only used to hurt people. Other people feel that we should be able to have hand guns because we need them to defend yourself. I feel that we school have a better law in purchasing handgun. They should not be that easy to get one. I believe that have one could make a person feel safer because you can only buy one if you don't use them for any other reason.
